Debate. It is far for me. I have taken part in this kind of competition before, but i always ended up losing and i felt embarrassed. After those losing experiences, i have make up my mind to buck up my debate skills. So, i went for the camp.
The camp was actually a debate camp. I departed on saturday morning, and i thought i was going to went on a serious day. But soon after i reached the gathering spot, i realised that most of the participants were quite friendly, and it made all my nervous feel gone...
The time passed quite slow. At noon, we finally reached at the camping spot, which was a primary school in Kedah state. Soon we reached there, we had our lunch and soon we were asked to know each other among the participants. Ya, and some kind of "game" was held. The organiser asked us to remember 20 persons name, and the one who couldnt remember will be asked by other participants to do something, e.g. singing, dancing, and even someone there was called to perform catwalk!!!
After that session, we were divided into groups. They intently called us to make our group members a family, and i was, sure, a son... After that, we were given some brief introduction about debate, and we were asked to do some activities also. After those introduction, we were asked to perform a drama at night, and we only have 3 hours for that!!!
6pm, I saw some primary students playing basketball at the basketball court, this made me wanna play basketball. When i am home, i normally play basketball everyday. I missed it very much on that time.
7pm, Dinner. We discussed about our drama and we found ourselves genius! The drama was really funny and the other participants laughed wildly when they were enjoying. Luckily i wasnt the amusing character in the drama... xD
12am, Supper. After my midnight bath, our organiser asked us whether we wanted to eat supper or not, and i ordered 2 packets of nasi lemak, haha. New noun here, "Midnight Lemak Rice". It is surely delicious, although it's serving is kinda, small..... About 2am, i went back to our room, thought that i was going to sleep, but i continued to talk with my friends, until the others came back from ghost stories(>.<) on 3am, only i was able to sleep after all the noises faded. But, the mosquitoes kept me busy the whole night, and i discovered on the next day that my whole body was filled with red patches which made me itchy. The next day, WALAO EH!!! Cold water bath at 6am in the morning, err, dawn, it was very very very very very very very cold. My whole body was shivering because of coldness. After my bath, once i walked out of the bathroom, a freezing cold blew towards me, and i felt like falling down.... After we had our breakfast, we still have some talks and after that, the camp ended with a debate competition among groups....... Our group lost. We took photo. We say goodbye. We bid farewell. We left. On the journey back home, i already missed the camp. I wanted encore. But things that passed wont flow back, the same as time. So.............. I wish for another one!!!! There will be second, third, fourth and much much more of camps in my lfe...... It is just the matter of time........ I am waiting now.....
